What does it cost to ride PATS fixed route buses?


Our fixed routes are $1.00 per ride. Seniors (55 and up) and Students (to and from school, Monday-Friday) 50 cents. Youth fares; ages 6-18, 50 cents, ages 0-5, free. Seniors 70+ qualify for a Gold Card Pass and can ride unlimited on PATS fixed route buses.


How many fixed routes does PATS run?


Four; Red, Yellow, Green, Blue


What hours do the buses run?


Each fixed route bus leave PATS terminal every hour starting at 7:00am with the last run returning at 7:00 pm (Monday - Friday). On Saturday, the fixed route bus hours of operation are 8:00am - 7:00pm.

Scheduled bus service hours of operation are 6:00am - 6:00pm (Monday - Saturday)


How often do the buses leave the terminal?


Our fixed route buses leave the PATS terminal on the hour.


Can I buy bus coupons?


Yes, coupons can be purchased at PATS Terminal at a cost of $8.00 for 10 coupons. Coupons can also be purchased from your fixed route driver. However, drivers will not have change, so you must have the exact amount for coupon purchase.


Where can I buy a monthly bus pass?


Like the coupons, a monthly pass (giving you unlimited rides) can be purchased at the PATS terminal for $30.00. No pro-rated bus passes are available.


I have a monthly pass, but I’ve misplaced it. Can I get a duplicate card?


Yes, a duplicate card will cost you an additional $5.00. 


Can I buy a one-day bus pass?


No, daily passes are not available.


Can my pet ride the bus with me?


Only if your pet is a properly controlled “Service Animal” will it be allowed on board PATS buses/vehicles.


Another passenger is bothering me, whom do I report a complaint to?


You have a few options; you can speak to your driver, fill out a complaint form at the PATS terminal, or call our office.


What if I have a complaint against the driver?


You can then come into the PATS terminal and fill out a complaint form or call our office.


I’m on Medicaid, how do I schedule a trip to an appointment?


To schedule a trip, please call (AACS/GRITS), the Medicaid broker for our region. AACS/GRITS can be reached at: 1-844-575-9676. AACS/GRITS hours of operation are: 8:00 am-4:30 pm (CST) Monday through Friday and 8:00 am-1:00 pm (CST) Saturday. They are closed on Sunday.


How far in advance do I have to schedule my trip with AACS/GRITS?


You will need to schedule your trip at 72 hours in advance.


How do I get ADA qualified?


You need to obtain a form from PATS office and fill it out. One portion needs to be filled out by you, the other your doctor. Then return the form to PATS for approval. 


Does my child have to be in a car seat or booster?


Yes, children under the age of 8 must be in an approved car seat or booster for transport. The only exception to this is our fixed route buses; child seats are not required on our fixed route buses.
